Lift Stations (Water & Storm)
Looking for Dependable Lift Station Maintenance in South Florida?
Residential & Municipal
A lifting station is used to pump wastewater from a low to a higher level when the area gradient does not allow it to be done by gravity.
There are two important components in a lifting station: the well and the control panel. The well is a basin in which the wastewater is discharged and where the pumps are located. The control panel manage every action of the lifting station.
When the wastewater is introduced into a well and it reaches a certain level, the control panel recognizes that the well is full and turn the pumps on, which will move the wastewater to its next destination.

Achieving Peak Operation
A professional needs to ensure proper maintenance of a lifting station; pumps and controls are constantly exposed to a corrosive environment so lifting stations require maintenance to avoid costly repairs.
Proper maintenance includes cleaning of wells, inspection of the pumps, check valves, and floats to ensure adequate performance. It also includes inspection of all electrical control equipment.
South Florida Pumps specializes in the installation, replacement, and/or maintenance of drainage pumps, floats, control panels and components.
